Research process for dividend briefs

From intake questions to the written memo and follow-up discussion—how a Nodevector Grid engagement actually moves.

Intake

You share tickers or a holdings list, income intent, and constraints (currency, legacy holdings, timeline). We confirm whether a brief, portfolio review, or quarterly watch fits.

Scope lock

Name count, markets, and delivery window are written into a short scope note. The deposit invoice follows only after you accept that scope.

Filings pass

Annual reports, interim statements, payout notices, and earnings transcripts are read with attention to recurring earnings versus one-off items that inflate coverage.

Written brief

You receive a PDF organised around payout history, coverage, peer context, and income risks. Uncertainties from thin disclosure are stated directly.

Discussion

A scheduled call or Bangkok office session walks through the memo. Clarifying questions within five business days of that session stay inside the original fee.

What you should prepare

Bring the legal names and tickers, approximate position sizes, and any non-investment reasons a name must stay. If you already printed annual reports, share them—duplicate hunting slows nothing and sometimes surfaces notes you marked yourself.

Where this leads

Most first-time clients begin with the Dividend Opportunity Research Brief. Households with several income names often move to an Income Portfolio Review. Ongoing watchlists use the Quarterly Dividend Watch.
